Who was better Lord Rama or Demon Ravana?

A pregnant mother asked her daughter, “What do u want- A brother or a sister?“

Daughter:- Brother

Mother:- Like whom?

Daughter:- Like Ravana

Mother:- What the hell are you saying? Are you out of your mind?

Daughter:- Why not Mom? He left all his Royal ship & Kingdom, all because his sister was disrespected. Even after picking up his enemy’s wife, he didn’t ever touch her. Why wouldn’t I want to have a brother like him? What would I do with a brother like Ram who left his pregnant wife after listening to a “Dhobi” though his wife always stood by his side like a shadow? After giving “Agni Pareeksha” & suffering 14 years of exile. Mom, you being a wife & sister to someone, until when will you keep on asking for a “RAM” as your son???

Mother was in tears.

Moral of the Story – who were better?

PERCEPTION IS STRONGER THAN REALITY. Yes, this phrase is 100 percent
correct more so in today’s world. We have been hearing about Ravana as
evil and wicked Demon. But there were few great qualities of him to be
taken account of.

Drawing parallel to life, it means that, in every person (however bad
he may seem) has some good qualities to be recognized. However, we are
being programmed so much from our childhood knowingly and mostly
unknowingly, from our parents, teachers, friends, and relatives that
it becomes our belief system. From these beliefs are produced our
thoughts which in turn are converted to feelings and then actions and
behavior.

What’s the difference between YOU and a COMPUTER? Let me give you the
answer – You can write your OWN program but a computer cannot. Who has written (or is writing) your program? Is it you or someone else. If
its someone else then you can imagine what he has in store for you, as
he/she has not achieved what you want to achieve.

My only humble request to all of you is, write your own PROGRAM and
question your old program (beliefs) and you will realize how stupid
you have been (as I have realized albeit a little late in my life).
But its never late to change your PERCEPTION for better.
