Till date, there can be no other better summary of the various stages of life than that proposed by William Shakespeare, the man widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language. His poem ‘7 stages of life’ each, represents a beautiful period of life and depicts a parabolic curve starting from being an infant to concluding this life by becoming like a child once again, with old age.

We may divide the qualities to look for in an individual to accept him/her as a partner into two types. They are – Primary and Secondary qualities. Primary qualities are basic and fundamental qualities that should be looked for as a mandatory quality.

Secondary qualities, on the other hand, are those that are visible to the world upon taking a glance. These qualities are like the surface of the water and can be visible just by seeing them, unlike primary qualities, which are similar to deep waters, or in other words, the inner qualities of a person.
